The aggression turned Gaza into rubble that cannot accommodate life

More than 70% of the buildings in Gaza were bombed, including neighborhoods that were completely destroyed.

More than 290 thousand homes were destroyed, of which 70 thousand homes were completely destroyed.

Because of this massive destruction :

• More than 2 million people have become homeless, suffering from hunger, thirst, and harsh conditions of displacement.
• Only 3% of their water needs are available.
• Only 8 bakeries out of 130 are still in service.
• Life is unbearable and the situation is on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe.

To contribute to alleviating their suffering, « the Arab International Reconstruction Authority in Palestine » in collaboration with  «CAPP foundation », launched « Urgent shelter project »

Under the slogan: Gaza, together we support it… shelter and reconstruction

The project targets tens of thousands of people, most of whom are women, children, the elderly, and people with disabilities.

It includes:

– Sheltering the displaced by providing temporary housing, including tents and caravans.

– Opening roads and removing rubble and dangerous buildings.

– Restoration and strengthening of damaged buildings

– Restoring bakeries and wells and rehabilitating them with solar energy.
