How much does it cost to sponsor a Palestinian child?
Sponsoring a Palestinian orphan costs €55 per month per child. You can choose monthly payment (€55), quarterly (€165), or annual (€660). The amount covers the child's education, food, and medical care.
Is the sponsorship tax-deductible on the income tax return?
Yes. As a foundation under Law 49/2002, the first €250 donated per year is 80% tax-deductible on income tax, and the rest 40% (45% if you have been contributing for 3 years or more). We send you the tax certificate automatically.
Will I meet the child I sponsor?
Yes. After your first payment you receive the complete profile of your child: name, age, photograph, and family situation. Each year you receive a monitoring report with their academic and personal progress.
Does the money go directly to the child?
Yes, 100% of the aid is managed directly through our team on the ground in Gaza and the West Bank, without intermediaries. CAPP Foundation is registered in Spain (Reg. 2116JUS) and has its accounts externally audited.
Can I cancel or pause the sponsorship?
Yes, at any time and without penalty. You only need to write to us at contacto@fundcapp.org or call (+34) 963 664 121.
Does the sponsorship count as Zakat?
Yes. Sponsoring orphans is one of the valid destinations for Zakat al-Mal. If you wish to designate it as Zakat, indicate this in the comments field of the form. You can also see our Zakat al-Mal page.
